What we take:

Clothing must be clean and in good condition... Not torn, stained, or have broken zippers. Small kitchen appliances, pots and pans, silverware, towels, sheets, etc. Household items must be clean and in good working order. Books and media must be wholesome and family friendly, in good repair, not torn or damaged. Toys must be in good repair and complete. Large donations by appointment only. All donations must be in good repair and good working order.

What we don't:

Broken, stained, soiled, ripped items which have lived a full life. We are also unable to take TV's and expired car seats. We don't take printers. Some baby items (like baby beds) may need to be seen prior to determination. This is not an extensive list.

Clothing & Shoes

We welcome gently pre-owned or new clothing, jackets, underwear, socks and shoes that are in good useable condition. Baby items including diapers too.

Dishes & Silverware

Like pots and pans, dishes and silverware are necessary items and we never seem to have enough of these items. We do not give broken or chipped items.

Furniture & Appliances

There is a great need for good furniture, appliances, vacuums, etc. Furniture donations by appointment only. Appliances must be in good working order. We do not take broken, ripped, or badly soiled furniture.

Personal Care, Towels, Sheets

Personal care items like soap, toothpaste, shampoo, brushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, and more.

Pots & Pans

Pots, pans and general housewares are necessary for people starting over, whether from domestic abuse or moving out of homeless shelter, fire or tornado. We love to give matching sets when possible.

Everything Else

Books, videos, brooms, decorative items, glass, tools, lawn and garden, computers and electronics, games, toys and more. We take it all!

Donate Monetarily

We have three different ways you can donate monetarily listed below. Cash is always done in person. Checks can be mailed or given in person. You may also use PayPal, which enables you to use credit card, PayPal existing funds, or a linked bank account to PayPal. Compassion First at the Crossroads has a non-profit account set up with PayPal. PayPal is a very safe option to use. When you send money to Compassion First at the Crossroads using Paypal, it goes DIRECTLY into the Compassion First at the Crossroads non-profit bank account linked with PayPal.

Make a tax deductible donation‏ with PayPal. This is the only way to use a credit card. PayPal does charge us fees to accept donations but offers the donor a way to cover those fees.
